Okay, so as Julia mentioned in her comment on the last post, it's time to think about who you're inviting to the next Friday Nite Live. I figured I'd better give you guys some info regarding the next installment of FnL, since it will be a little different than the first week.
First of all, it will not be on the first Friday of January. I know, I know, we just got started and we're already breaking tradition, but I think you guys will be glad to wait a week. Why? Well, that brings me to the second point.
On top of the Wii, xBox, ping-pong, foosball, apple game of Julia's, chess, and so forth, we're also going to be having some special music. When I say "special," I mean good. Who is it thats going to be playing this music for us? ME!!!
No, not really. That wouldn't be good or fun. It might be "special" though. But not good special. Special in a short-bus kind of way. Did I really just say that? Oops. So who is it really? It's a band called esterlyn. If you haven't heard of them yet, you will soon. They will be spending the better part of '08 touring with Kutless and Stellar Kart. Before they go on tour, though, they are stopping in Bend and will be playing for us. We will still be having all the games, activities, and prizes, but we figured a concert would go along nicely with the evening. If you want to check out their music, you can look at their myspace. Bean, you totally forgot Paolo on sound, Julia and Ashlee on backup, and Skye on the Kazoo. I have yet to hear him, but Skye raves about his Kazoo skills. He is auto in th band for that!
haha...skye skye, skye... i'd love to see him on the kazoo!! Julia and Ashlee rarely come (although jam night is like once a month now). Can't wait for the bass! We need a bass player BADLY! (Sorry ben)
i'd never expect julia and ashlee to be up on stage (particularly in front of friends). never gonna happen...that band doesn't sound too bad.

hah! i wouldn't do it, i like singing..in my room and every once in awhile, but in front of people(like paolo said) i don't think i would..but Ashlee could..and the band does sound good..oh and i might of missed it on that thing, but when is it Ben?

just kidding. anyways, any suggestions on how to best invite friends? my current method is taking the in your face approach combined with a humorous sales pitch.
hmmmm.... Big P, the in your face approach can work with some people, but all you can do is invite and pray.

Julia - I don't have an exact date right now. I'd just say get them in. I do have extra copies, so I'll get it to you either Sunday or send one home with your pops.
