bennn xbox360 and ps2 are in completely different generations of gaming, they arent comparable. should be playstation (3) and the xbox 360. and xbox has halo. nuff said
I know PS2 isn't the latest and greatest. I'm not a gamer, but I've been told there aren't many games out for PS3 yet. That's why I polled on PS2/XBox 360.
Hmm that's a tough one...gamecube and wii for smash.
Ben, you can't compare to Xbox games in general. What does PS2 have... Guitar hero, i'll admit, but that's pretty much it.
Besides, you can't compare to Xbox Halo 1,2, and 3 :)
Actually, i've never played Halo 3
PS2/PS3 is for the hardcore gamer, same with Xbox 360 (though only americans seem to like the Xbox 360 primarily), both on the higher end of the technical spectrum. the wii is on the lower end of the spectrum, aimed at the general public, more family friendly and party oriented. it features specs similar to the last generation Xbox, but has much more innovative features (the wiimote), a very large library of games like the Xbox 360, and has vastly higher sales than almost the PS3/360 combined and has already beaten several of the PS2 and 360 sales records.
plus nintendo has smash bros. halo can't compare, heh heh.
in response to the poll, i'd say PS2. more games on it i like to pay.

bean man, ps2 has SO MANY good games. and guitar hero is universal on consoles now anyways. PS2 has all the greatest RPG games, such as the continuation of the final fantasy series, and others which i cant think of haha. gran tourismo was a breakthrough for its genre, also for the ps2. xbox 360 is better tech wise, but other than halo i think PS2 had better options and games. haha im getting all into this, nerd alert! even though i voted for 360 haha. yeah ps3 doesnt have much out yet, but the ones out are very amazing! graphics are ridiculous

true p, but man, the ps3 graphics are enough to make it superior in most cases. halo and smash are an exception :)
yeah... I guess i haven't played the ps2 as much as the xbox... and the ps3 is insane! I saw a preview for a basketball game and thought i was watching the ESPN highlights!

Did you guys know that people actually play basketball for real? I mean with a ball and a basket, on a court. It happens in real life, not just in video games. Incredible, huh?

Whenever I ask anyone to come to any event at all, they make up some rediculous excuse why they can't come... Ideas??
ehh yeah thats hard bean. you tell them, 'oh hey, theres this cool friday night thing with my youth group, were gonna play wii on the big screen, and pizza, and just hang ya know? wanna come?' they are cool with the fun part, but when you say 'youth group' or 'at my church' that turns them off. i dont know any sure-fire way to get people interested
just invite, plain and simple. nothing more we can do.

Hey everyone! Man I don't know how you can write on the blog all the time. I always forget about it and then write on it like once a month. I'll get better though. And just so you know (which you should and I am saying this sarcastically) we are having these Friday gigs every month! So don't worry if they don't come to the first one. Just mention it and remind them the next time!

ahh, so hard to get people to come. i sent out invitations and no replies from most and others have "plans" already. kinda frustrating...can only pray now.
just keep trying paolo, they sooner or later will get the idea..just dont give up! i know it can be hard but just dont take no for an answer just keep asking them like zach and ben said
