Hey guys - haven't forgotten about SOM. The church is going through some changes to the website right now so I may wait until the changes are complete. But don't think I'm not paying attention to who will be the next SOM. By the way, who brought the most friends to the corn maze? Oh yeah, JULIA!!!!

Most likely won't be mr. ewe. Bean, you're hilarious.

Anonymous said...

How do you study for Modern World History?? I understand everything, but the tests are not easy. I got a 55/90 yesterday. That's a 61% :(

Julia, you need a campaign group for SOTM? haha
JULIA JULIA JULIA!!!

Anonymous said...

61% dang. i used to have alot of trouble with history too. what exactly are you having trouble with, like remembering events/dates? this is interesting to me, i want to learn about troubles like this, since im going to be a teacher

Anonymous said...

studying is simple. read the night before the test then go straight to sleep. works for me, heh heh.

Anonymous said...

try getting mostly f's on your history test bean. it sucked but of course i was in APUSH. i actually did really good in my modern world history test. i'm a smart buggar. becoming a teacher eh trev?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

I didn't just call rian a chrome boy... it's the name of satriani's guitar

Anonymous said...

man. can your life be changed dramatically after it has already been changed? cause mine just was.
this speaker we had tonight at our big bible study thing just laid it all out. im sure you've heard this all before, but i think it really just clicked for me. we read in Eph 3:10, '..to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be known by the church to the principalities and powers int he heavenly places' this is basically just saying, and throughout that chapter, that we ARE the church. our job is not to go to church or youth group and learn about Jesus and what he has done. that is to help us for our job. our job, our intent is 'to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known BY the church(us) TO the principalities and powers in the heaenly places.' earlier in Eph 3 he talks about the 'mystery' which is now revealed, that ALL people(basically, gentiles now as well) should be part of the body and partakers of his promise. the speaker talked about injustice in the world. he runs a ministry where he takes 12-18yr old boys in who are just completely lost, and tries to turn them around. as he said "he turns hopeless dope-fiends into dopeless hope-fiends". he has a capactiy of 12 boys at a time, and now with a waiting list of 26. the other day he gets a call from a grandmother saying, 'my grandchild, age 13, is being raped by his father. can you please help me save my grandson from my son?' and he didnt know what to do. theres just so much injustice in the world like this and what do WE do about it??? we go to church and youth group and learn and grow in our relationship with Jesus. this ISNT enough! we need to go out and fufill our purpose, the great commission, and really use the what the Spirit has given us by coming down to us. we have great power with Jesus. JESUS says himself in John 14, 'Most assuredly, i say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I(thats Jesus) do, he(thats us) will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my father.' So he is saying that we can be like Jesus, we can do what he did, because we have him, the Spirit, in us. Dont be afraid anymore. we need to do it!

Sorry a little long winded haha, but i wanted you all to know that. Thanks for your time :P

Trev

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

"playing bass" is a generous way of putting it.

Actually, I had a dream the other night that I was playing bass in a band. Except it was a little kid's bass guitar. And it was left-handed. So I was playing it upside-down. Hmm?

Anonymous said...

haha, I had a dream last night that I was cut completely in half!!! No kidding.

Anonymous said...

interesting dream...i have had some of those.

Anonymous said...

you'll never believe the dreams i've had.

Anonymous said...

dreams....can they come true or not...i wonder about that sometimes.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

if you wish upon a star, all your dreams will come true... Ha! How many times is there a shooting star in plain view?!

Anonymous said...

i was talking more along the lines of world destruction, visiting places in past dreams, fighting bizarre creatures and people, and all around weirdness, plus feeling pain.

Anonymous said...
