Well, since we haven't posted since April, we've missed summer. It was pretty busy, eh? Fireworks, weddings, Mexico, etc, etc, etc.
As the new school year starts, let's remember to continue doing good. As Paul says in Galatians 6:9-10, "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith."
Remember your classmates, teachers, families, all know you're a Christian. And, they're watching! They want to see how you react to the pop-quiz, the stuck locker, the ranch in your shoes (Bean). Let us continue to do good.

Philipians 2:5
"Your attitude should be the same that Christ Jesus had."
Jesus never had a bad attitude about the problems in life, so we shouldn't either. So your locker gets jammed, or you have ranch in your shoes (It's coming, I can feel it...) Don't let whatever happens drive you to a bad attitude.

bean got ranch in his shoes? bwahahahahahaha!!!..........nice! man have i been out of touch, with nmy job and all. i may get a different one depending on how well it mixes with college and all.

On another note-
I was walking to class today, and there was this old dude preaching outside the union hall(cafeteria basically), simply reading the bible out loud, as loud as he could say it. Lots of people watching actually, it was pretty cool! Boldness for sure.
Have you longboarded yet, Trev??? Longboarding is going to be out soon, I think. When will the weather in Bend become anti-longboard??? Mabye there is a snow longboard out there... snowboards don't count :P
yea boldness. effectiveness.........remains to be seen. but dude gets points in my book.
So Trev - Have you been to church yet in AZ? How was it? Any friends?
longboarding is never out of style. i'll make sure of that. and yea trev, whats the word on the church dude?
Naw i havent been yet :( I think my bike got stolen or something... I locked it up and everything.. :( But yeah i cant really walk there its like 8 miles away, and i cant longboard, its a highway so that doesnt work really. But theres a study group on campus i went to this tuesday, its okay. Somewhat seeker friendly, but they are on track. Met a couple kids there
Trev-Are there any city buses... you could take one close to church and longboard to the church
bean's got a good point trev.
Whatd I miss Tuesday... I had open house @ school
Paolo, how was your first 2 days of C.O.C.C.
its possible to get there with a bus, but the hours of the bus are over at like 730, so i couldnt get home. Anyway there is a church-study group on campus that meets every tuesday, so im going to that at the moment, its cool. met some nice christian folks for a change, hardly anyone in my dorm hall are christian!
Glad to hear you are doing well trev. Talk to you later.

Haha looks funny. Paolo, how did the job thing go Friday? Or is it this Friday?
eh, not sure bean. i went and just applied, no calls yet. i'm considering checking out Bend Glass Co. ofr a drafting internship, or KOHD and work on their graphics for the morning news (but that requires being up at 3:00 am till like 7:00 am). but it does sound cool working for the news tho...i'm praying nand weighing my options.

what kind are you lookin for?

hah hey guys!
Oh the trasnfer to OSU isnt looking good, they said i cant get most of the money they originally offered me. But i have a new consideration. Theres the OSU Cascades Campus in bend, i might go there for a semester, live at home, save ALOT of cash, and go to OSU next year. WHo know though, still considering and praying about it. Hows things at the youthgroup?! When is the winter camp? Let me know if you need any help with it, like some more of my sweet ideas like the giant 4-man slalomn haha!
Peace
Don't do it Trevor. Stay in AZ. I'm sure its tough, but it builds character. God wants to use you down there in a way that you can't be used here. Stick it out. A couple of semesters from now it will start to feel like home.
yeah youre right. i am getting more and more comforable each day, im sure ill be fine soon haha.
